PLEASANT VALLEY, Mo. -- Police are searching for a man accused of raping a child.
Terry Ray Smith, 34, is accused of assaulting a 13-year-old girl while she was baby-sitting.
Police have been looking for Smith since the crime happened in April at a house in Pleasant Valley.
Investigators think his family is helping him hide from the police. "His mom knows where he's at and we're getting very little information from her," said Pleasant Valley Police Chief Jim Daum.
