Police Not Searching For Suspects
LIBERTY, Mo. --
Clay County authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman who were found at a home north of Liberty.
An individual found the bodies of a man and a woman late Sunday night and called 911. Clay County sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 12400 block of Southridge Drive, which is north of Liberty. Neighbors described the two as husband and wife. The victims are a 58-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman. They have been identified as Edward and Sharon Grimes.
The Clay County Sheriff's Department said they are not looking for a suspect at this time. They are looking into the possibility that this was a murder-suicide.
