Chamber Hosts Liberty Fall Festival this September '09

The 33rd Annual Liberty Fall Festival will take place Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27. Events will be located at the Courthouse Square, Rooney Justice Center as well as a few other locations surrounding the Square.

The Fall Festival hours are Friday, September 25 at 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 26 at 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. The Parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday and end around 1 p.m. Hours on Sunday, September 27 are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Carnival area only).



The Liberty Fall Festival is hosted by the Liberty Area Chamber of Commerce and is run entirely by volunteers who have the assistance of the Chamber employees. The event can be traced back to 1934 and has ties to the Clay County 4-H and William Jewell Colleges’ Homecoming. The Festival is held on the fourth full weekend of September each year.
