A Consumer Watchdog group is airing a cartoon that is named “do not track me.”

The video depicts Google’s CEO, Eric Schmidt as seducing children to come get their “free ice cream.” Then the cartoon version of Eric Schmidt talks about how nothing is really free and how Google gives away things in exchange of stealing your privacy. The NY Times has an article named Retargeting Ads Follow Surfers to Other Sites that talks more about this type of tracking.

as possible before handing it on to future generations.

-- George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) Irish Playwright
