Visual Arts Scholarship Awards to Local High School Seniors

Each year Northland Exposure Artists' Gallery awards scholarships to graduating Northland high school seniors planning to pursue a visual arts education. The gallery's major fundraiser for the scholarships is the Blue Dot Silent Auction comprised of member-donated works. This fun and worthwhile event starts in October and ends with a reception in November. This is a wonderful opportunity to obtain some great artwork at even more reasonable prices while supporting a worthy program

The following high schools participate in the scholarship program:

Liberty - Liberty, Missouri

Platte County R-3 - Platte City, Missouri

North Kansas City - North Kansas City, Missouri

Plattsburg - Plattsburg, Missouri

North Platte R-1 - Dearborn, Missouri

Saint Pius X - Kansas City, Missouri

Oak Park - Kansas City, Missouri

West Platte R-2 - Weston, Missouri

Park Hill - Kansas City, Missouri

Winnetonka - Kansas City, Missouri

Park Hill South - Riverside, Missouri

The artwork of the local high school students will be on display starting on April 17th with an Awards Reception on Saturday April 21st from 6 to 9 pm

The following awards provided by the Gallery:

1st Place $550 and 1st Place Certificate

2nd Place $450 and 2nd Place Certificate

3rd Place $350 and 3rd Place Certificate

The Northland Exposure Artists' Gallery located at 110 Main in Downtown Parkville, MO
